This ring is perfect. I think the bad reviews are due to people not knowing what a moissanite stone is. It is its own stone and not at all meant to be a diamond replica. If you are buying this and expecting it to look exactly like a diamond, you will be disappointed. Out of all the shapes of moissanite, oval is the one that looks least like a diamond. In my opinion, moissanites are much prettier than diamonds. They also last forever, they won't scratch or chip. Moissanite is a 9.25 on the mohs hardness scale (diamonds are 10) and moissanite have a higher refractive and dispersion rate, which means they are shinier and more sparkly than any diamond. The high refractive rate also causes rainbow colored sparkles, which is gorgeous but doesn't sparkle exactly like a diamond. So in summary, this ring is drop dead gorgeous but if you're experienced with diamonds you will probably be able to easly tell it isn't one. So if you don't know what a moissanite is, don't buy this and give a bad review because it "doesn't look like a diamond." It's not supposed to.
